The San Mateo Branch merged first with Branch 6508 Half Moon Bay early in 1980. This merger was quickly followed with the mergers of Branch 1767 Burlingame, Branch 3529 San Bruno, Branch 4172 Millbrae, Branch 4732 Pacifica and South San Francisco.
